Welcome to Module 1: Elements

Your money journey starts here

Hey, I'm so glad you're here. I'm Ashlee, founder of Financially Growing, and a mom of five who lost my eyesight a while back. Somewhere in the middle of figuring out my own money, I realized the lessons I was teaching my kids weren't anywhere in the school system. So I built them. And now you've got them.

Module 1 is where it all starts. We're calling it Elements because every single thing you do with money for the rest of your life sits on top of these four foundations: how money got here (History), how borrowing actually works (Debt), what's tugging at your wallet from the outside (Influence), and the number that's going to follow you everywhere (Credit). Get these four right, and everything else gets easier.

How this module works

Four lessons, each roughly 40–45 minutes. Pause at any point and pick it back up later, your progress saves automatically.

  • 8 blocks per lesson. Same shape every time. Once you finish Lesson 1, you'll know how every lesson in this whole course works.
  • Real OR Mock at every assignment. If an activity is hard to apply to your actual life right now, there's always a story-based version that earns the same credit.
  • A badge per lesson, earned when you finish all 8 blocks, pass the Self-Check (70%+), and submit your Pledge. Retake the Self-Check as many times as you want.
  • A Module Badge at the end, earned when all 4 lesson badges are in AND you complete the Module 1 Post-Assessment.
  • A full Course Certificate is earned only when you finish all 5 modules. That's the long game. Module 1 is the start.

Module 1 stands on its own. If you bought just this one, you'll walk away with real, usable money skills. If you bought the bundle, Module 1 sets up everything that comes next, Plant (planning), Nurture (habits), Grow (big milestones), and Harvest (long-term purpose).

Before you start

Take the 6-question check-in next. It's your starting line, the same questions come back at the end so you can see exactly how much you grew.
